Degenerative disc disease, arthritis, tendon injuries, and so on may respond well to HBOT. All these conditions involve tissues that are not well-vascularized—meaning that they have relatively little blood supply, therefore relatively little oxygen. Flooding these tissues with oxygen triggers the full range of healing processes, often with dramatic benefit.
